About Us<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Studio7, a mosaic studio, was established in 2011 with a vision to create aesthetically designed products for a wide range of applications. It has been our dream to make original art accessible to suit every pocket. We design, create and execute mosaics for spaces ranging from outdoor gardens to home d\u00e9cor. We take commissioned orders, teach and make a range of d\u00e9cor items available off-the-shelf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe in spreading the joy of art. Our mosaic workshops are designed in a way that participants learn the beauty of glass and master its nuances!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Durga Tilak and Mitalee Joshi are self-taught artists with a passion for all visual arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We started our glass practice with Tiffany stained glass, but were soon attracted to mosaic using glass. What started as a hobby, rapidly developed into a full-fledged mosaic studio. When we started in 2011, mosaic was seen more as a utilitarian application for surfaces and less as art unlike in the West. We decided to take mosaic further and give it its due credit as a serious art form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have continuously experimented and strived to further the usage of mosaic. This has led to successfully using a myriad of material, surfaces and techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe in the therapeutic benefits of practicing any form of art. At Studio7, we have taught over 500 students this wonderful art form. We are proud to say that several of our students have moved ahead and started their own mosaic enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To give our students a platform to showcase their work, we hold annual exhibitions. These exhibitions have been very successful, where our students have also been able to sell their work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
